Does my phone take an eSIM?

Most phones from the last few years do. If yours does not, the reply says so and suggests another way to stay connected.

Do I keep my own number?

Yes. An eSIM is a second, data-only line; calls and texts on your usual number still work over Wi-Fi or your home network's roaming.

When does the plan start?

It is installed before you fly and activates when you choose, usually on landing.
