Who writes the journal, how an article is made, and how to tell us when we have something wrong.
Who we are
The editorial desk is the part of NWP Travel that researches, writes, checks and updates this journal. NWP Travel is the travel agency behind www.nwptrips.com, operated by NWP Travel and Tourism L.L.C-FZ in Dubai. The same company arranges the trips, flights, hotels and visa applications the site offers, so the journal answers the practical questions that come before a booking.
Articles are signed by the desk rather than by individual writers. That is a statement about responsibility: the company stands behind every article, and corrections come from the desk, not from one person's inbox.
What we write about
- When to go: seasons, weather and crowds, from official records.
- How things work: airports, check-in, connections, luggage and money.
- Destinations in depth, alongside our destination guides.
- Travel from the UAE: school holidays, time differences and the routes that serve them.
- Visas and entry: where the official rules are, and how our visa desk helps. We link the rules; we do not restate them.
How an article is made
- We start from a question a traveller would ask, and write the short answer first.
- We find the official source for every fact: a national weather service, an airport, an airline, a ministry, a tourism board. Where only a news report records something — an airline's holiday advisory, say — we cite the report and its date.
- We open every source and check the claim against it on the day we cite it; that date is printed beside the source.
- We leave out what we cannot verify, and say so where the gap matters.
- Automated tests, which we run before anything is published, fail on an article with fewer than three sources, a source without a secure address, a source the text never cites, a photograph without a credit, or a short answer outside 40 to 60 words.
- The article is published by NWP Travel. When facts change, we update it and move its Updated date.

How to reach the desk
Write to trade@nwp.ae with the article's address and what you think is wrong or out of date. We check it against the source and correct the article if we were wrong; a material correction is recorded, with its date, at the foot of the article.
