We do not sell, arrange or refer travel insurance. Buy cover from a licensed insurer in the country where you live before you travel, and check that it covers medical treatment abroad, cancellation and the activities you plan.

Before you buy

What to check in a policy.

Medical treatment abroad: The limit, and whether it includes bringing you home if you are ill or injured.
Cancelling or cutting short: Which reasons count, and from which day you are covered.
Baggage and belongings: The limit for each item, and what you must report, to whom, and by when.
Delays and missed connections: How long a delay must last before the policy pays.
Everyone travelling: Each traveller named, and any existing medical condition declared.
What you plan to do: Diving, skiing, driving abroad and similar activities are often excluded unless you add them.
